Our Signature Search Process is our systematic approach to talent identification that has worked consistently for our client companies. This process helps you hire the people you need (or seek) and in the process, help you avoid negligent hire issues. Lastly, it increases the likelihood of the long-service hire we are dedicated to finding.
Step 1 - Management Review
Before we begin the search process, we capture the best-fit requirements, familiarize ourselves with your firm and industry, conduct comprehensive interviews in your offices with key management staff, define the target position, assess the organizational culture, and evaluate the relationship elements of management and peers.
Step 2 - Candidate Profile
We create a written candidate profile of the ideal candidate including basic function, relationships, responsibilities and authority. We work with you to approve this profile and leverage these specifications to describe the position to prospective candidates.
Step 3 - Candidate Identification
We do not solicit and file resumes from job seekers who may contact us from time to time looking for a new position. We proactively search for candidates only after our client company initiates a search and the position specifications and candidate profile are completed.
We conduct a targeted search based on your requirements to identify a pool of prospective candidates and personally screen all candidates before you meet any of them. We know your time is valuable, so we present only those applicants with the qualifications you are seeking.
Step 4 - Candidate Evaluation
We spend a minimum of 4 hours with each candidate before they are ready to be presented, including a 2 hour phone interview followed by at least 2 hours of face-to-face competency interviewing. An executive summary or complete assessment of these interviews can be provided.
Our goal is to source, interview and present qualified candidates within 45 days. During this period, we typically present formal profiles of three to four candidates, and meet with you to review search progress. Interviews are then scheduled with the selected candidates with your interviewers.
